The next Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows Work Party is on Sunday 2nd March 2014 from 10:30 at the northern side of the Cornfield planting Gorse in the gap , and then at the southern end of the New Meadow planting Hawthorn and Hazel in the layed hedge.  We’ll have the Cornfield gate open and the A board showing, but take care crossing the ploughed field – it’s not usually permitted access. Please walk along the grass margin round the western end of the Cornfield rather than through the seed crop – you will probably sink in the mud if you try to cross the ploughed area. Alternatively you could access from the Country Park, which is probably easier if a slightly longer walk.

Volunteers welcome for all or part of that period. Please look out for the A board to see where we are.

The remaining Spring dates are 23rd March and 6th April.
